Drop-in writing workshop for youth under 19

If you've ever wanted to try out writing, improve your writing, or expand your set of skills, Urban Legends can help facilitate that!

Young poets, writers, MCs, lyricists, are welcome to join us every Monday during the school year at the Ottawa Public Library Main Branch at 120 Metcalfe St (corner of Laurier) for a fun, no-commitment skill-building workspace facilitated by local artists. Youth will have the opportunity to connect with each other, get tips and resources, and develop their art.

Youth SPEAK! is a drop-in program, meaning participants can come and go as needed, and have no obligation to attend every session.
